  3. Behavior Management

Our approach is founded in Applied Behavior Analysis principals

The ultimate goal of our behavior management component is to reduce individuals’ maladaptive behaviors and develop skills that will allow for their transition to a less restrictive setting and ultimately paid employment for individuals who have expressed a desire to enter the workforce.

We teach socially appropriate behaviors to replace maladaptive responses that allow for individual progress toward
    greater independence.

This component includes 1:1 crisis communication, relaxation training, trigger
awareness, and learning a step-by-step approach to calm down when upset/frustrated. Individuals will learn the physical sensations related to specific feelings.
