Upon admission we assess an individual’s abilities, strengths, preferences, and
barriers.

Based on this assessment we develop a plan to teach individuals the skills needed in order to gain greater independence and develop the ability to adhere to social norms.

 

Skill objectives may include daily hygiene tasks, toileting, toilet training, food preparation, teaching fine and gross motor skills required for dressing skills, washing hands, table manners, and any other task areas an individual may need assistance in developing.
